Bang Bros Network Review

I've said it before - I've always been a sucker for the BangBros stuff. Why? I never really understood that until I finally sat down and did this review of Bang Bros Network. It suddenly dawned upon me - it is because they never seem to take themselves too seriously. Sure, the content is great and they ALWAYS have good looking talent, but since they started in 2001 with BangBus - the production company seems centered around having fun, which is something that is rare in this business. After all of the cookie cutter and shitty porn I've seen while doing this job - it's something small like that that makes all the difference.

Anyhow, that's completely off topic. Moving on...

BangBros Network currently has 2174 video sets to watch, which feature both videos and accompanying photo sets. They add a new update to the site daily, and pull the all-exclusive content from their 19+ websites currently in circulation. All of their videos are extremely well produced, and the "shaky cam" syndrome that is usually associated with reality porn is nowhere to be found.

BangBrosNetwork 's member interface is a breath of fresh air. I've always been a fan of the 'simple and easy' mantra, and that's exactly what you get here. You're never confused where you are - or where you need to click. To navigate, you can select any specific scene, search for content, or browse their latest updates.

And the movie dashboard itself is great. It allows you to watch the scene's trailer, select varying formats, see other content a specific performer did or view the scene's associated photos. You can also rate the scene, tag clips as your favorite and search for your favorite models. That means when you find the girl you like, you can instantly grab every other scene she is in, without having to go around searching each movie.

Because BangBrosNetwork.com is an archive of all their produced content, you can expect to see video and photo resolutions vary based on the date they were produced. As far as I can tell, all the video content from the last couple of years has been at a resolution of 640 X 480, so the majority of the archives are made up of that. As you go back in time, however, the quality does lessen (But, honestly, what can you expect from 8 year old content?).

Videos area available in two formats: WMV or MPG, with no DRM. They try to appeal to both Dial-Up and Broadband users by offering both smaller 1-2 minute segmented movie clips or larger full scene downloads. The largest full-scene files are a few hundred megabytes, which is certainly manageable by a broadband user, but dial-up users may want to stick to the segmented scenes.

Screen grabs and Hi-Res photos are available for each scene. Most of the Hi-Res photos are presented 800x533px, which leaves something to be slightly desired. The screen captures are posted at a lower resolution and they come directly from the scene's video itself.

When you join, I'd strongly suggest avoiding the $2.99 2-Day trial for several reasons. First, it doesn't give you full access to the site. They offer the trial as a 'teaser' rate to get you to see the quality of content, then upgrade your membership. Secondly, after the 2 days, the trial rebills at a whopping $39.99. This approaches almost twice the regular $23.95 monthly price, and might leave you with a really bad taste in your mouth (and a lighter pocket).

Overall, after 8 years and dozens of sites it's good to see the BangBros haven't lost their touch.
